Product Overview
The Standard Gelcoat Panel is SKD’s core FRP gelcoat product — a fiberglass-reinforced polyester substrate finished with a factory-applied gelcoat surface. This combination delivers a smooth, weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant panel that’s ready to install straight out of the roll, without additional painting, coating, or surface treatment.
Manufactured with in-house resin formulation, every panel is produced under consistent quality control — from raw material blending to final surface finish — ensuring stable color, uniform thickness, and long-term durability across production batches.

UV resistance ≥99% blocking helps the panel resist fading, chalking, and surface degradation under prolonged outdoor exposure.
Rated for continuous use from -40°C to +140°C, suitable for both cold-chain and high-heat industrial environments.
The non-porous gelcoat surface resists moisture, salt spray, and common chemicals, reducing maintenance needs over the product's service life.
In-house resin formulation gives SKD direct control over raw material consistency, minimizing color and performance variation batch to batch.
Manufactured to consistent thickness and width tolerances, allowing straightforward cutting, forming, and on-site installation.

Applications
The Standard Gelcoat Panel is suited for general-purpose weathering, decorative, and industrial applications, including:

A: The standard finish is high-gloss and smooth. We also offer Glossy, Wood Grain, Trefoil, Bubble, Pearl and Leather — the surface texture doesn’t affect the panel’s core performance, so the choice comes down to your application’s aesthetic or slip-resistance needs.
A: Our standard production range is 0.8mm to 5.0mm. For requirements outside this range, please contact us to discuss feasibility for your specific project.
A: The panels are rated for continuous operation from -40°C to +140°C without cracking or deforming, making them suitable for repeated freeze-thaw cycles in cold chain transport.
A: Yes, each panel is shipped with a peelable protective PET film covering the gelcoat surface, preventing scratches and surface damage during transport, storage, and installation. Simply peel off the film once the panel is in place.
A: Our panels are tested to relevant ASTM standards and verified by SGS. Select product lines also meet FDA requirements. Test reports and certification documents are available on request.
